How do I return an wig unit?



Effective for all orders on or after 1/1/2013.

Returning a Wig Is Easy!

  • You have 14 days after you receive an item to request a refund.
  • The item must be in perfect condition to be eligible for a refund.
  • Clearance items, maintenance items or items not in perfect condition are not eligible for a refund.

Details:

If for any reason you are not happy with your wig purchase, you may receive a full refund of the price of the wig or exchange it for another color or style. You may also choose to receive store credit. We gladly accept exchanges on all eligible products (see below).

Products being Exchanged or Returned (Eligible Items)

1. Must be in original and perfect factory condition (unaltered, unworn, undamaged, and with tags attached) and in original packaging.
2. Odor-Free (Any odors on the product will render the product ineligible for any return)
3. Refund must be requested within 14 days of receiving your original order.

Ineligible Items

1. Clearance items
2. Wig maintenance products and hair products
3. Product(s) with tags removed or that have been altered, worn, damaged, or tags/packaging tampered with, products will be ineligible and deemed unauthorized.

Please do not send used items for return. If your product is ineligible for exchange or return, you will have to pay the shipping cost for us to return the item to you.

How to Get Your Exchange or Refund

Requesting a refund is easy!

1. Send an email to exchanges@styleillusions.com to request your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and indicate the reason for the return.. Be sure to include your order number with this request.

2. We will send you an RMA number.

3. Send your product back. You are solely responsible for shipping items back- we recommend USPS parcel post which should be about $4-$5 dollars depending on the size of your item.

4. After verifying the item is in acceptable condition, we will refund your money to the payment method on file. Refunds usually take 3-5 business days if you paid by credit card. If you paid with Paypal or Google Checkout, your refund may be processed much faster or immediately.

5. We do refund the cost of the wig and your $7.00 shipping fee! We do not refund overnight shipping fees. We do not refund international shipping fees. We will only refund your charge to ship the wig back if the incorrect item was sent or if the item was defective. You are solely responsible for shipping returns back to Style Illusions. ***If you choose not to use a carrier that offers package tracking or insure the package, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.***

Shipping Costs on Exchange
Shipping charge of $5.00 will be added to all exchanges depending on the weight of the package. The same payment and shipping information will be used for your exchange unless otherwise requested.

Bad or Insufficient Address

If you give us a bad address- either it has an error in it or the post office determines it undeliverable- this does not qualify for a FULL refund if the item is returned to us. You will still be responsible for shipping if the item gets returned to us. We can refund your money LESS the shipping fee. If you received free shipping, you will receive a refund LESS whatever the shipping cost was. If you want it reshipped, the $7.00 shipping fee will apply.

Address Change/Update Policy

Once your order has shipped we cannot change the address without filling out a request through the United States Postal Service. The package will be returned to us and then we can reship it to you; there is a fee for this service. You will be responsible for this fee if you want the item reshipped. We cannot be held responsible if you give us a bad address.

Changes to Order or Cancellations

Once your order has been shipped, we cannot change or cancel your order. You should contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your order. If you decide to cancel your order after it has shipped, write "Return to Sender" on the unopened package once it is received. The Post Office will return it to us. Once we receive the item, we will refund your money LESS the $7.00 shipping fee. If you received free shipping, you will receive a refund LESS whatever the shipping cost was.

Back Orders

We don't do back orders. Everything you can select on the website is in stock- unless we made an inventory mistake somewhere. In those cases we will contact you to find out if you want to wait for the item to come in or get a refund.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Style Illusions LLC will not be responsible for stolen packages after the merchandise has been confirmed to have been delivered by the United States Postal Service. We will do our best to inquire USPS and your local post office to help you assist in retrieving your package.

Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for late shipments due to holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times.

Fraud & Theft

CREDIT CARD FRAUD AND THEFT OF OUR MERCHANDISE WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE HIGHEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. styleillusions.com reserves the right to refuse and cancel any orders at our discretion without notice.
